10-22-14 Would you like to learn how to borrow E-books from the library’s collection that you can read on your e-reader, tablet, laptop, or other mobile device? Our computer expert Steve Taylor will be teaching “Overdrive Basics” on Thursday, October 22nd at 3:00 pm. He’ll walk you through the steps of using the Overdrive (our e-book vendor) website to browse the library’s e-book collection and then borrow, import, and read e-books on your device. Call 652-3858 to sign up, and be sure to bring your library card and your e-reader, tablet, or other mobile device to class with you. 3:00 pm
11-18-14 The Friends of the Old Fort Library have chosen The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks for their next book talk on Tuesday, November 18th at 6:00 pm at Java Junction. Judy Josey will lead the interactive discussion. We have ordered several extra copies of the book, so call 668-7111 or 652-3858 to request a copy. 6:00 pm
10-21-14 Ms. Lori has selected an awesome autumn decoupage craft project for the teens to create on Tuesday, October 21 at 4:00 pm in the meeting room of the Marion Library.
