The McDowell County Public Library offers a variety of resources in print and digital formats. This includes: books, magazines, DVDs, audio books, e-books and e-audio books.  Make sure to have your library card on hand to access these services.

NC Cardinal

Don’t have your book or DVD in stock today?  Order it through NC Cardinal.  As a member of the NC Cardinal system, you have access to roughly 5.1 million library items across the state.  If it’s available somewhere, we can have it within 5-6 business days.

e-iNC Library

Download a book or audio book at home!  Library members can check out four titles for up to 3 weeks.  Try out a bestseller or one of the Battle of the Books titles.  Not sure how to download items to your e-reader?  Staff can show you how!
