Kids Summer Reading Program

This summer share a good tale with friends!

Join us for the annual Summer Reading Program at the library!

Important Dates to keep in mind:

June 11th- The Summer Reading Program Begins! Summer Reading Packets are available to pick up.
June 17th-Take-and-make Craft Pick-up Start
August 6th- Last day to turn in Reading Logs and be entered into the raffle.
August 12th- Raffle Drawing

HOW DOES IT WORK?

This year kids can participate using the printed Reading Log.

Use our Printed Reading Log, available at each of our library locations.

For every ten (10) minutes you read, place a sticker on one of the circles on the reading log.
For every twelve (12) stickers placed on log, come into the library to receive a raffle ticket.

You will have a chance to win many prizes and coupons this summer. When you have completed a reading log you will be entered into our Grand Prize drawing. The more you read, the more chances you have to win.

We have many incentives for all youth completing the program. They will have chances to win prizes baskets, gift certificates from local businesses, gift certificates from out of town businesses (such as WNC Nature Center, Kid Senses, and Defy), and Kindle Fires. They will also receive a free ticket to a Crawdad game.

You can pick up a printed copy at either library or print your own copy here:
