Checking Out Materials

Check Out Limits

Patrons may borrow up to 99 items total, with the following restrictions:

• New items and audiobooks: 10 per card
• Videos: 7 per card
• Technology (Hotspots, Chromebooks, Laptops): 1 per adult card

Loan periods

• Books, Audiobooks, CDs, Technology: 21 days
• New Fiction books, Magazines: 14 days
• DVDs: 7 days

Late Fees 

• Laptops, Chromebooks, and Hotspots are $1.00 per day.
• Other materials, including DVDs, are $.10 per day per item.

Renewals

You may renew materials in person at either location, online, or by telephone up to 4 times, unless the item is reserved for another patron, with the following exception:

• Hotspots do not have renewals.

Technology Lending

Patrons are asked to fill out a Technology Lending Agreement when checking out technology for the first time.

Technology must be returned to either the Marion or Old Fort branches and handed to a staff person. Technology may not be placed in any of the books drops.
