NC Live Database

NC LIVE offers free electronic access to resources on topics ranging from careers, business, and investing, to health, history, and genealogy.

Chilton Auto Repair Library

Includes repair manuals of automobiles from 1940 to 2016.  Access the database from any internet-enabled device.

Foundation Center Resources

Your first step in researching grants.   Access is only available at the library and includes:

  • Foundation Directory Online Professional– Includes a database of U.S. foundations, corporate giving programs, and grantmaking public charities, plus a growing number of non-U.S. grantmakers; and a keyword-searchable database of recently filed IRS Forms 990 and 990-PF.
  • Foundation Maps-A data visualization tool and the easiest way to see who is funding what and where around the world.
  • Grantspace.org– GrantSpace provides easy-to-use tools, such as webinars and document templates, to help nonprofits become better grant applicants and build strong, sustainable organizations.

NC Cardinal

Through our online catalog you can find a wide selection of titles; our collection includes 5.1 million and is growing.  If the topic your’re researching isn’t carried by any library in NC Cardinal, please fill out our Contact Form.  We always appreciate feedback from our patrons.

Available through OverDrive, you can now download over 12,000 materials to your internet-enabled device with your library card.  While boasting a large fiction collection, you can also find cookbooks, memoirs, study guides, and the latest medical titles here as well.  Items return themselves, so you’ll never have a late fee.
