St. Patrick’s Day Party

Preschool Story Time
Marion Library – Mondays at 10:30-11am
Old Fort Library – Tuesdays at 10:30-11am
Picture books, songs, felt board stories, action rhymes, and fun for preschoolers and their families. Targeted age group 3- to 5-year olds, but all are welcome.
Crafts for Little Hands
Marion Library – 2nd Monday of the month, 11-11:30am
Old Fort Library – 2nd Tuesday of the month, 11-11:30am
Once a month after Story Time, preschool-aged children are invited to craft at the library. Dress for a mess because we will be using glue, scissors, paints, paper, markers, crayons and much more! Targeted age group 3- to 5-year olds, but all are welcome.
The Lab: Mini-Greenhouses
Marion Library – 1st Wednesday of the month, March 7th, 4:00-5:00pm
Old Fort Library – 2nd Wednesday of the month, March 14th, 3:30-4:30pm
Join us in The Lab as we build and conduct interesting experiments. This month: Build mini-greenhouses! For school-age children, ages 5+.
The Studio: Vegetable Stamping
Marion Library – 3rd Wednesday of the month, March 21st, 4:00-5:00
Old Fort Library – 4th Wednesday of the month, March 28th, 3:30-4:30
Try your hand at different art techniques in The Studio. This month: Create unique patterns using vegetables as stamps! For school-age children, ages 5+.

LEGO© challenges, board games, crafts, and outdoor fun! For school-age children, ages 5+.
Paws for Reading
Marion Library – Thursdays at 4:30-5:30pm
Dogs are great listeners! Each week we will have a certified therapy dog at the library. Children are invited to read to this friendly dog to practice their reading skills without feeling self-conscious while reading to an adult. Sign up for an appointment at the circulation desk.
Sensory Story Time
Marion Library – 1st Saturdays from 12:00 – 1:00pm
Sensory Story Time is an all-ages program created for the families of children with special needs. Our goal each story time is to engage the senses through interactive books, songs encouraging movement, and other exciting sensory activities.
